Drawing Class

Join our four-week art class designed to enhance your drawing skills! Meeting once a week, the course consists of two in-person sessions and two online classes. Each in-person class lasts two hours, during which students will focus on drawing still life using pencil and charcoal. You will develop critical observation skills, emphasizing composition and the direction of lines, while also learning essential tool handling techniques. By the end of the course, you will not only have completed a finished still life but also gained the ability to apply these skills across various mediums and reference subjects. Additionally students will have the unique opportunity both provide and receive constructive critiques critical to the serious artist's growth. Students learn what makes a strong composition as well as how to identify powerful use of the elements of art and principals of design.
